Volunteer

Bumi Sehat has been fortunate to be flooded with volunteer offers from generous people around the world. Bumi Sehat is a small village-based clinic, and can only accommodate a small number of on-site volunteers per year.  If you would like to volunteer with us, please review the information below and follow the links.

* Special notice * We are currently accepting applications for volunteer English teachers at the Bumi Sehat Youth Center.

There are so many other ways that you can help right now!
Our most essential volunteering need everyday is to spread the word about Bumi Sehat and help us raise money to further our mission every single day, for every single mother, baby and family.

1. Donate
The link on CNN Heroes makes donations "Fee Free" until Dec. 31st and every little bit helps!

2. Spread the Word
Let your community know about Bumi Sehat. If you're a blogger, share our message and help us reach people and communities that don't know about us yet.

3. Support your local midwives
They are the guardians of natural childbirth.

About our volunteer programs:

Bumi Sehat has come a long way in the past 10 years. We feel deep gratitude for all of the volunteers and interns who have helped us get to where we are today. In this 10 years,  Bumi Sehat has established two fully functioning birth and medical clinics in Indonesia, employing 30 permanent staff members from Bali and Aceh. We see more than 17,000 patients and welcome more than 600 lives into the world per year.
